Keene Ethics for Recovery Coaches

What: Keene is pleased to offer the CCAR Ethics 2 DAY training required for those coaches working towards their CRSW. And to all coaches to ensure you are following the ethical standards of a recovery coach role.

When: Friday February 16, 2018 and Saturday February 17, 2018 from 8:30am-4:30pm

Keene HIV/AIDS for Recovery Coaches

What: This one-day training is geared towards substance abuse professionals and will provide participants with basic and updated information about HIV/AIDS and other STDs. This includes risk factors, modes of transmission, signs and symptoms, prevention, the relationship between HIV and other STDs. This training will explore the relationship between substance misuse and HIV/AIDs as well as the correlation between mental health and HIV/AIDS. Additionally, this training will increase the knowledge around the benefits of HIV testing. 

When: Friday, March 9, 2018 from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

The Peacemaker

Mariposa Museum and the Redfern Arts Center at Keene State College will co-present the film The Peacemaker.  This film is about international peacemaker Padraig O’Malley.  O’Malley helps others make peace but struggles to find peace for himself.  This film takes us from Padraig’s isolated life in Cambridge, Massachusetts to some of the most dangerous crisis zones on Earth.
