The Youth Summit focuses on developing leadership,
character, and harnessing the power of peer influence. The Youth Summit is a highly interactive, youth-led workshop focusing on how youth can create their ideal community through being active bystanders, building healthy relationships, and strengthening their leadership and communication skills.

Element #1: Visualizing their ideal community
through 5 components: Supportive, Safe,
Unique, Fun, and Inclusive. Youth explore these
components through journaling, discussion,
and team building activities.
Element #2: Connection and action to their
role as bystanders in doing Green Dots. Green
Dot is a bystander intervention program that
talks about how to look out for peers and classmates
to create a school culture where bullying
and dating violence is significantly less
Element #3: Building healthy relationships.
Element #4: Building communication
skills, boundary setting, boundary
acceptance, and conflict resolution.
Element #5: Role of leadership, explicit
and implicit influence.
