PARTNERING FOR STRENGTH 2018 CONFERENCE — FOR YOUTH
Finding the "I" in Independence | Created for youth by youth
What: A day of sessions and activities planned for youth by youth ages 14-26 with disabilities and/or special health care needs.
Where: Grappone Center, Concord, NH
When: Sat April 7, 2018 (8:30 am – 4:00 pm)
John Fenley has made it his calling to speak openly and passionately about his experiences to inspire others to join the disability rights movement. He strives to define himself by his abilities rather than his disabilities and will focus on what connects us and brings us together — the abilities we share in school, at work, and in the community.
Break Sessions include:
A youth panel sharing their experiences around self advocacy and disclosure, how to have (or not have) difficult conversations, accessible yoga, internet safety, and more!
Registration is required:
Fee is $20 which includes lunch, snacks, and beverages throughout the day.
Registration by 3/24/18 is required.
