What You Can Do Today (1 Credit)

This course is designed for those that want to learn about trauma theory, how trauma impacts youth, and how to become trauma-sensitive. Participants will develop an action plan for integrating knowledge gained from this course into their professional practice.
Students will be required to attend the Trauma-Sensitive Systems: What You Can Do Today course and submit the materials outlined below:
- Participate in the entire Trauma-Sensitive Systems: What You Can Do Today course.
- Provide a five page reflection on what you have learned about trauma theory, ACEs, and trauma-sensitive systems and how you will apply what you have learned to your professional situation. Include at least two references in support of your reflection.
- Create an action plan that includes five action items for integrating information from the course into your professional practice. The action plan will include a description of the action item, rationale, timeline, and resources.
Cost for one graduate credit including fees is $558.00 (instate) and $608.00 (out of state). This course can also be audited for half of the for-credit cost
